BIOGRAPHY:

Kaosophia was founded in 2009 by the cooperation of XRT and KRZ in Kyiv, Ukraine. Originally the band was called Cotard Syndrome, but the members rejected the name because of its irrelevance in the reflection of the true essence of the band.
A full line-up was formed during the year.
After a few live shows in 2010 the group recorded its first demo «Towards The End». This work was self-released by the band in 2012 in a limited edition cassette.
In 2013, first album «The Origins of Extinction» was released on CD and cassette.
The band started to perform live more actively and has managed to share the stage with many European bands.

Kaosophia preaches orthodox ideas of Satanism, in the most straightforward and ruthless form - total unconditional worship. Self-destruction as the overcoming of human essence, the cognition of pain to gain access to another level of realities perception.

REVIEWS:

Kaosophia - Serpenti Vortex
"...Serpenti Vortex is a concise and succinct album in just under 34 minutes, that in a gleeful dystopic manner performs an effective assassination. «We shall all die», the whispering voices insist in an ascertaining demeanour, «so why postpone what is inevitable?»..." Rating: 5+

Kaosophia - Serpenti Vortex
"...What I’ve embedded below is a video (and a Soundcloud stream) for the first single from the album, “Enter the Devotion” — which is tyrannical and magisterial, doom-shrouded and savage, hallucinatory and harrowing. The somber melody of the song’s introduction gives way to frenzy and unease in equal measure, with furious assaults trading places with slow, dissonant arpeggios.
The changing dynamics of the song and its success in generating both blood-rushing energy and brain-twisting psychosis are to be applauded. This should be an interesting album to explore in full when it comes..."

Kaosophia - The Origin of Extinction.

"...After listening to this album Ukrainian band playing black metal, I realized that the musicians have a good level. The music quality is great and I am not believing that this happens now. The style of Kaosophia is real black metal. The musicians don't hesitate to use unusual decisions and moves..."

Kaosophia - The Origin of Extinction. 91/100

"...Delivering 46 minutes of ravishing Black Metal, Ukarine’s Kasophia will blow you away with their brutal debut “The Origins of Extinction”. Filled with oppressive riffs and brutal drums, this release delivers hate-filled onslaught of crushing Black Metal that no fan of the genre will want to miss.“The Origins of Extinction” is a killer debut for a very promising band. The music is top notch and the tracks have enough creativity in them to make them quite distinguishable from each other… a rare achievement in Black Metal these days..."

Kaosophia - The Origin of Extinction.

"...Kaosophia operate at all speeds and manage to create dark atmospheres regardless of whether they’re blasting out at full throttle or creeping around much slower. Either way, the Blackened melodies and writhing riffs give an impression of grandeur and horror.
This is a really enjoyable 46 minutes of music. This is the kind of Black Metal that it’s easy to like; a well-recorded and well-written slice of apocalyptic hymnals..."

Kaosophia - The Origin of Extinction. 8/10

"...Kaosophia  plays  a  style  of  raw  and  melodic  occult  black  metal  that  is very  heavily  influenced  by  the  Swedish  bands  that  go  more  into  the  dark  side but  with  a  more  grim  approach  to  vocals,  the  production  sounds  very  powerful  while  the  lyrics  cover  Satanism, Chaos,  Apocalyptic  Visions,  and  Mind  Delusions..."
